THE CLIENT WAS NOT AFRAID TO PUSH THE BOUNDARIES TO DELIVER SOMETHING A BIT DIFFERENT AND CREATE AN ENGAGING, AUTHENTIC ATMOSPHERE.
Located just five minutes from Shannon International Airport and on Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way, the Shannon Springs Hotel (SSH) has been transformed from a 2 Star to a 4 Star property. The most recent work, completed in late 2020, is the construction of 17 extra bedrooms, a new reception area and a new meeting room.
The client was open to all possible directions from a look and style perspective. However, the client brief was that they wanted interiors that exuded personality and character, that reflected their forward-thinking approach, friendly customer experience and would deliver a clear point of difference.
In a sea of traditional hotel offerings, SSH’s interiors have been completely transformed. The MILLIMETRE DESIGN team have created well-considered, quirky new spaces for guests to enjoy. The hotel look and feel has been radically changed and the feedback from both local clientele and visitors has been incredibly positive.
