PROPER PROJECT PLANNING AND STRICT ADHERENCE TO OUR PROVEN DESIGN PROCESS METHOD WAS IMPERATIVE TO ENSURE PROJECT SUCCESS.
Originally opened in 2011, the multi-award winning Motorway Services Site Junction 14 Mayfield, located on the M7 in County Kildare, has undergone a major extension and revamp. The project was undertaken to allow for improved parking, expanded seating space and children’s play areas, and a greatly enhanced choice of food brands.
The design brief for this particular project was to create a state of the art service station with a unique design that would challenge current perceptions of service station designs in Ireland and across Europe.
The vision for the interiors was to a create a “food market” style, similar to those seen in European capitals (such as Time Out market in Lisbon), with a high street look and feel that would create a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the day and at night-time.
