MILLIMETRE DESIGN is a leading, multi-award winning, and multi-disciplinary design studio.  We are consistently recognized by our industry peers for our design expertise.  Most recently in 2020 we won “Design Practice of the Year” at the annual Fit Out Awards.

We are active across a broad spectrum of industry sectors, including food, retail, hospitality, leisure, office, education and health.

Our Studio is based in Dublin 15, with free car parking, it is easily accessible by car from Dublin City Centre as well as from North and South County Dublin. Our team come from all over, even as far away as Arklow and Mullingar.

With a growing portfolio of high-profile commercial clients, we currently have a number of vacancies for the position of Senior Interior Architect/Designer.

The successful candidates will work on several projects consecutively, reporting directly into a Project Director.

Experience, skills and knowledge required

  • Minimum of 5 years’ post graduate experience in an Irish or UK design practice, with a proven track record of delivering commercial interiors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture, Architecture or Interior Design.
  • Experience in Hospitality, retail and /or high-end residential interiors is a distinct advantage
  • You need to be highly motivated, extremely organised and enjoy working in a team environment.
  • You should be comfortable presenting design proposals to clients.
  • You must be experienced in controlling & managing projects, liaising with clients and leading design teams to ensure effective project delivery
  • You need to have strong conceptual skills, excellent knowledge of interior detailing and FF&E specification.
  • You must be highly proficient in AutoCad
  • Proficiency in Sketchup, Photoshop, Corel, 3D studio Max or Cinema 4D is a distinct advantage
  • Full understanding & expert knowledge of current building regulations, BCAR & standards is essential
  • Outstanding creative design skills as well as strong project planning, file management & organizational skills are necessary
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, to deal with in house team, clients and third party suppliers
  • Site experience & strong project management skills are required
  • Full clean driving licence and own car is essential
  • People management experience is essential.

Visa Status:
You must be fully registered to work in Ireland/EU, with all required visas, stamps, permit etc in place to work full time in Ireland.
