New Restaurant Design for PRADO

We are proud of the stylish interiors we created for new restaurant PRADO, which opened earlier in the year in Clontarf, Co. Dublin, in the premises which formerly housed Moloughney’s, a neighbourhood restaurant which had been there for 10 years.

The client’s vision for the interiors was to create a smart and stylish restaurant with a contemporary vibe, in keeping with its coastal suburban setting, that respected the heritage of the building but appealed to the younger demographic that was now living in the area.

Our design created a smart, stylish space with rich oak and premium joinery, furniture and finishes. The interiors exude warmth with copper fittings and light fixtures reflecting the flames that dance in the kitchen beyond. Attention to detail was key; coupled with interesting lighting solutions which brought our design concept together.

We were respectful of the original stone wall interiors and retained these and used clever lighting design to accentuate the stone details.

Contemporary Italian furniture was used throughout, including soft warm leathers, brass, copper, stone and timber finishes. Exposed conjugate and ducting in an aged bronze finish, a new mirrored wall, and wine displays throughout work seamlessly, creating pops of interest both functional and aesthetic.
